From uninspiring to proud: a new website for PM Decorating

The client

PM Decorating is a family-run painting and decorating company based in Poole, working on homes and commercial properties across Poole, Bournemouth and the wider Dorset area. The team is City & Guilds qualified and fully insured, and their services range from internal and external decorating to wallpapering, spraying, dustless sanding, epoxy resin and uPVC spraying.

The brief

PM Decorating already had a website, but in owner Phillip Marchant’s words it was “old” and “uninspiring”. For a business whose whole reputation rests on a flawless finish, the website needed to show the same standard of care, and make it easy for homeowners in Poole to see the work and get in touch.

What I built

• A modern, clean design that puts the quality of the finished work front and centre
• A headline that tells visitors, and Google, exactly what PM Decorating does and where
• Clear service information covering every type of job the team takes on
• A gallery of finished bathrooms, living rooms and bedrooms
• Customer testimonials to build trust before the first call
• The phone number in the header and a contact form on hand, so getting a quote takes seconds

The result

The old site was replaced with a modern, professional website the team is genuinely proud to send customers to. Phillip described the process as patient and informative, and the finished site speaks for itself.
